Shortfundly uses flexible funding. When a backer successfully confirms payment at checkout, they are charged according to the payment flow shown there. Meeting the funding goal is not required for a confirmed pledge to be charged.
When a campaign’s end date passes or the campaign is otherwise closed, it stops accepting new pledges. Campaign end does not automatically issue refunds for confirmed pledges.
No. Missing the funding goal does not by itself cancel or automatically refund confirmed pledges. When the campaign ends or is closed, new pledges stop. Refunds require a manual request and admin review.
No. Submitting a refund request does not guarantee approval or a particular completion time. Requests require manual admin review and processing.
Yes. Creators may back their own campaigns. Self-backing is allowed.
Backer counts reflect unique supporters with at least one successfully confirmed pledge on a campaign.
Reward tiers are pledge levels creators offer on a campaign. Each tier describes what backers receive—such as digital or physical rewards—when they pledge at that level.
Add-ons are optional extras backers can add after choosing a reward tier, before completing checkout.
No. Creator payouts and settlements are not available yet. Confirmed backer payments are processed at checkout; transferring campaign funds to creators through an automated payout schedule is not implemented at this time. Contact support for the latest operational guidance.
Platform and payment processing fees may apply and are disclosed during campaign setup or checkout. A public fee-percentage schedule is not published on this site.
Backers may request a refund review through support as described in our Refund Policy. Include your pledge reference. Requests require manual admin review and processing and do not guarantee approval or a particular completion time.
