When refunds may apply to backer contributions.

Shortfundly uses flexible funding. When a backer successfully confirms payment at checkout, they are charged according to the payment flow shown there. Meeting a funding goal is not required for a confirmed pledge to be charged. Creator payouts and settlements are not available yet.
When a campaign’s end date passes or the campaign is otherwise closed, it stops accepting new pledges. Campaign end or missing the funding goal does not automatically issue refunds for confirmed pledges.
Backers may request a refund review through support. Requests require manual admin review and processing. Submitting a request does not guarantee approval or a particular completion time.
